Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Continuing Education $100.00 per person Course Length: 16 Hours Course Options In-Person Training: Minimum of 6 participants Blended Learning: Complete the online portion at your convenience before the September 30 Louisiana Bureau of EMS license renewal deadline, then schedule your required skills session. Course Overview The Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Continuing Education course is designed for currently certified EMRs who need to renew their certification and maintain proficiency in pre-hospital emergency care. This course is ideal for: * Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs) * Firefighters * Law Enforcement Officers * Industrial Emergency Response Teams * Healthcare Professionals This 16-hour refresher course provides a comprehensive review of current EMR knowledge and practical skills, helping participants stay current with best practices in emergency medical care while meeting the continuing education requirements established by the Louisiana Bureau of EMS for certification renewal. Topics include updates in patient assessment, trauma care, medical emergencies, airway management, oxygen administration, Basic Life Support (BLS), and other essential emergency response skills. Important Information Course tuition does NOT include CPR certification or Louisiana Bureau of EMS license renewal fees.
