Instructor eCards are issued only after all required training, monitoring, affiliation, and supporting documentation have been completed and verified. Once your eligibility has been confirmed, your Instructor eCard will be processed and delivered electronically.

Eligibility Requirements
Before an Instructor eCard can be issued, all applicable American Heart Association and Training Center requirements must be completed. These may include:
Current AHA provider certification in the applicable discipline
Completion of the required Instructor Essentials course
Completion of the classroom Instructor Course
Successful instructor monitoring
Current affiliation with Keeping Safety Smart, LLC
Completion of all renewal requirements, if applicable
Submission of all required documentation

Keeping Safety Smart will review and verify your documentation and affiliation.

Processing Information
Instructor eCards are processed after all required documentation has been received and verified. Processing times may vary based on order volume, weekends, holidays, and the completeness of your submission.
Incomplete or inaccurate documentation may delay the issuance of your Instructor eCard.
